Market Intelligence Intern (Grains & Softs)

JOB PURPOSE

Assist the Market Intelligence team in creating timely reports and analysis, enabling the team’s recognition as thought leaders. This position will support the production of high-quality market analysis to add value to our customers’ risk management agendas.

The intern will have direct contact with our global team, providing data analysis and market insights to bridge Supply & Demand fundamentals with our Risk Management Business Strategies.

This opportunity encompasses two areas within Market Intelligence:

Grains Market Intelligence (Soy Complex, Corn, Wheat, and Oilseeds)

Softs Market Intelligence (Sugar, Coffee, and Cocoa)

KEY ACTIVITIES 

Support the management of Supply & Demand databases.

Assist in the elaboration of reports and market presentations, providing data and market analysis for internal customers through regular reports, presentations, and participation in internal weekly calls (risk, credit, and trading), always under the supervision of an analyst.

Contribute to media content creation, enhancing the company brand (videos, posts, and webinars).

Be customer-centric by providing input based on surveys with our customers, aligned with our well-defined go-to-market plan.

For Grains Market Intelligence, focus on market trends related to soy complex, corn, wheat, and oilseeds.

For Softs Market Intelligence, focus on sugar, coffee, and cocoa market trends.

QUALIFICATIONS

Current degree in Economics or related areas
Knowledge of English (verbal and written).
Interest in or knowledge of Grain Markets or Softs.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of Market Research and Intelligence routines will be a plus.
Knowledge of Spanish (verbal and written) will be a plus.
For Softs Market Intelligence, knowledge and interest in Programming will be a plus.
