The Role

We are looking for a talented and passionate Video Editor to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in crafting visually stunning and emotionally resonant videos that will engage our audience with highlights of the world's most incredible destinations. You'll be responsible for translating breathtaking footage and captivating narratives into high-quality videos that inspire viewers to embark on their own journeys of discovery.

This is an international, fully-remote, contractor position, working from home, at a location outside of the United States.

There is flexibility in your work hours but we expect that you will generally maximize your overlap with Denver, CO, eg. Mountain Time Zone (GMT -7).

The work will all be conducted in English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and edit stock and raw footage into engaging and visually stunning videos that align with our brand's luxury aesthetic and storytelling goals
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video concepts for promotional campaigns, social media, and marketing content
• Incorporate audio, text, graphics, effects, and color grading to enhance the visual appeal and emotional impact of our videos
• Ensure all video content meets technical specifications and is optimized for various platforms, including web, social media, and email marketing.
• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing techniques to continuously enhance the quality of our video content
• Assist in file organization and sharing across team and stakeholders

Required Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years of professional video editing experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing past projects preferably within the travel, luxury, or lifestyle sectors
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and narrative structure
• Ability to adept editing styles to suit various platforms and target audiences
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Organizational skills with professional file handling and management
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and visual composition
• Strong communication skills and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback
• Passion for travel and an understanding of the luxury travel market is highly desirable
