Context & Challenge

Join a high-impact team within an international banking environment, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of critical trading applications managed from Paris. We are hiring for two positions: a “lead” profile (bilingual French/English) and a “standard” profile (fluent English, French a strong asset). As the first point of contact for production support, you will be the guardian of application health and a key player in resolving end-user incidents.

Work Schedule: Rotating shifts between 7:30 AM and 7:30 PM (morning/standard/evening), with occasional weekend coverage and on-call duties.

Your Day-to-Day Impact

As an Application Support Analyst, you will:

• Analyze and resolve Level 1 and 2 incidents for trading applications (FX, Money Market, Fixed Income, IRS), collaborating with technical and functional teams.
  


• Proactively monitor production environments, intervening immediately to address anomalies.
  


• Escalate and coordinate with Level 3 teams, developers, and external stakeholders to ensure swift and effective resolutions.
  


• Manage changes: Test, deploy, and ensure compliance with internal policies for application updates.
  


• Drive continuous improvement: Identify recurring issues, propose solutions, and contribute to cross-functional projects (analysis, reporting, release management).
  


• Operate in a Follow-the-Sun context, with occasional off-hours availability for critical activities.
  

Profil

Essential Experience:

• 5+ years in application support, preferably in banking or financial services.
  


• Technical expertise:
  
  
  
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments (daily commands) and databases (Sybase, MS SQL, NoSQL).
    
  
  
  • Scripting skills (Shell, PowerShell) and familiarity with scheduling (Autosys) or monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Kibana).
    
  
  
  • Knowledge of trading systems and financial products (FX, Money Market, Fixed Income, IRS).
    
  
  


• Client-facing skills: Proven experience supporting end users, with the ability to simplify and communicate technical solutions.
  


• Languages:

  • “Standard” profile: English (5/5), French a significant asset.
    
  
  

Desirable Assets:

• Experience with Kondor+ / Integrity or applications related to cash management, settlement systems, or bank transfer processes.
