About the Rising Professionals Program
The Toronto Blue Jays are looking for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are interested in learning from industry-leading professionals and exploring what it means to be a part of Canada’s only Major League Baseball team.
Selected individuals will become part of a diverse cohort with access to department-specific training, social activities and learning opportunities. Each participant will also be assigned a cross-departmental mentor from within the organization to guide them throughout the program and the unique chance to present to the Toronto Blue Jays' Leadership Team.
During this year-long program, candidates will gain invaluable real-world exposure to the sports industry, immersing themselves in the Toronto Blue Jays world right here at the Rogers Centre.

Overview
As part of the Fan Experience Department at the Toronto Blue Jays, this role supports the planning and execution of internal special events, concerts, non-baseball and hospitality events at Rogers Centre. Reporting directly to the Director, Concerts & Events, the successful candidate will play a key role in elevating and enhancing the fan experience each season.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing concerts, concert promotions, ticketed VIP experiences, special events, hospitality events, non-baseball events at Rogers Centre.
- Provide administrative support to the Concerts & Events team, including managing event details, staffing deployments, production meeting prep, ballpark setup requests, EMS requests, creative submissions, dressing room furniture and key inventory management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless event execution – departments include, but not limited to: Field Operations, Ballpark Setup, IT, Engineering, Technical Production, Security, Ballpark Operations, Merchandise, Fan Services, and Facilities.
- Support event operations from load-in to load-out, including catering and dressing room setup, furniture management, marketing initiatives, venue walkthroughs, artist gifting, F&B coordination, parking, IT and electrical requests, credential distribution, promoter package administration, and activation logistics.
- Assist with activation setup and execution, including vendor coordination, signage deployment, prizing, credential management, fan services, and staff training.
- Support hospitality event operations by collaborating with internal teams on developing and refining processes, managing client relationships, and actively participating in event advance and on-site execution to deliver seamless, high-quality experiences.
- Manage Blue Jays dressing room furniture inventory, ensuring accurate records and timely repairs.
- Assist with jersey requests, promoter packages, and other duties as assigned.
- Contribute creative ideas for activations, décor, hospitality welcomes, and artist gifting initiatives for concerts and events.
- Support part-time staff management and training, and assist the Coordinator, Concerts & Events with administrative tasks related to event requirements.
- Collaborate with internal departments on organizational initiatives and ceremonial events, ensuring alignment with overall brand and fan experience objectives.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure client expectations are met while delivering exceptional fan experiences.
Qualifications
Must be available to work all home games (evenings, weekends, and holidays) and other Rogers Centre concerts/events as required.
- Post-secondary education preferred in Marketing, Events, Communications or Sport Management, or equivalent work-related experience gained in the last 3 years
- Knowledge of the game of baseball and the Toronto Blue Jays a necessity
- Previous experience with coordinating events and programs an asset
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail, with a critical eye for quality and accuracy an asset
- Team oriented and ability to collaborate across many internal departments
- Experience in customer service and venue management an asset
- Creative, assertive, confident, and results-oriented
- Must be capable to deliver in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to sustain long physical days
Salary: The anticipated base compensation for this role is $25.00 per hour.
