We pride ourselves on the culinary creations served from our kitchen and are looking for an experienced and passionate cook to lead our team in Sidney Care. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience in a long-term care setting and can give direction and run a full-scope kitchen. If you have health care industry experience and a passion for making great tasting food, and strong customer service skills, we would love to hear from you.

Shifts: Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

What does a Cook do in a Long-Term Care Facility?

Work with the Dietitian to prepare appropriate menus for the residents
Ensure safety and sanitation practices in the kitchen
Request feedback from the residents about food preferences and menu development
Maintain a positive attitude and resident focus
Prepare specialized and textured diets
2+ years' experience working in a care home, hotel/club kitchen
Experience in preparing specialized and textured diets
Food Safe certificate
Proof of Vaccination
