Job Description - Customer Experience and Retail Associate

Flexible schedule. Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays.



VIBRANT Studios is our immersive division, dedicated to connecting stories with audiences through the power of immersive experiences. In partnership with PHI, we are bringing a new immersive experience to Toronto. This role offers the opportunity to work in a creative, fast paced environment where culture, technology, and human connection intersect.



The Guest Experience Attendant (Immersive Experience and Retail), also known as a Mission Specialist, is a front of house position responsible for delivering an exceptional visitor experience across both the immersive installation and the boutique. This role is fully cross trained, supporting guest flow, virtual reality operations, and merchandise sales. Attendants act as brand ambassadors from the moment visitors arrive through their final interaction, ensuring each experience is engaging, welcoming, and well supported.



This position offers hands on exposure to immersive technologies and live experience operations, while also building strong customer service and retail skills in a cultural setting.

  • Part time schedule, up to 30 hours per week, Thursday through Sunday.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Welcome visitors, validate tickets, and prepare groups for entry into the experience

  • Manage queues and guide visitors through their journey

  • Assist visitors with the installation and use of virtual reality equipment and provide clear instructions

  • Monitor the experience to ensure smooth operation and visitor safety

  • Respond to visitor questions and provide high quality customer service

  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues and communicate concerns to on site technicians

  • Clean and maintain virtual reality equipment and experience areas

  • Ensure all public spaces are safe, clean, and operational during opening hours

  • Boutique and Merchandise Operations

  • Greet visitors at the conclusion of the experience and support merchandise purchases

  • Process on site and online sales using point of sale systems

  • Maintain boutique presentation including cleaning, folding, and product facing

  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts

  • Remain up to date on promotions and offers and communicate them during the purchase process

  • Represent the brand professionally and courteously at all times

  • Work collaboratively with the team to support daily operations

  • Complete all other related duties as assigned



REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS



  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor

  • Strong organizational skills and punctuality

  • Ability to stand and remain physically active for extended periods

  • Neat appearance and good physical condition

  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

  • Working knowledge of Gmail and Google Workspace



ASSETS AND EXPERIENCE



  • Previous retail or customer service experience

  • Experience with point of sale systems such as Lightspeed

  • Experience with virtual reality equipment, entertainment, or arts and culture environments

  • Interest in immersive technologies and interactive experiences



AVAILABILITY AND TRAINING



  • Availability required for evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Availability for training between March 1-4, 2026 (dates to be confirmed)
