Customer Service Representative – 6-Week Contract (Logistics & Transportation)

Richmond, BC | On-Site | Free Parking
Contract: Mid-October Start | Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Are you a proactive and detail-driven customer service professional with a background in logistics and transportation? Do you have hands-on experience with the Greater Vancouver Container Dock reservation system? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

We’re looking for a skilled Customer Service Representative to join the team for a 6-week contract assignment starting mid-October. In this fast-paced and essential role, you’ll be a key point of contact for clients—coordinating shipments, resolving inquiries, and ensuring the seamless movement of goods across Canada and beyond.

What You'll Do:

Coordinate domestic and international shipments (LTL, import/export), ensuring on-time delivery and tracking accuracy
Manage customer orders end-to-end, including order entry, tracking, arranging returns, securing Proof of Delivery, and preparing invoices
Serve as the primary liaison for assigned customers—answering questions, resolving issues, and nurturing strong relationships
Monitor the customer service email inbox and respond to inquiries promptly, resolving discrepancies between waybills and purchase orders
Maintain accurate and organized customer records across warehouse and transportation systems

What You Bring:

Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience with the Greater Vancouver Container Dock reservation system – please note this is a required skill
Minimum 1+ year of recent logistics/transportation customer service experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
A solution-oriented mindset and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
