Local Podcast Producer - As Needed

Role Overview

We are looking for a versatile Podcast Producer in the Oakville area to handle the end-to-end production of our video-first podcast. You will be responsible for ensuring both the sound and the visuals are professional, engaging, and platform-ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Video Editing: Execute multi-camera switches, basic color correction, and integrate visual overlays (lower thirds, B-roll, or screen recordings).


• Audio Engineering: Professional mixing and mastering, including noise suppression and EQ balancing.


• Content Repurposing: Extract 2–3 "viral-style" vertical clips (Reels/TikToks/Shorts) from each full-length episode.


• Technical Setup: Periodic on-site assistance in Oakville to optimize lighting, camera angles, and microphone placement.


• Distribution: Prepare final files for YouTube and Spotify/Apple Podcasts, including thumbnail coordination and SEO-friendly descriptions.

Technical Requirements

• Software: Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve 


• Hardware Knowledge: Comfortable troubleshooting cameras and audio interfaces.
