Job Description - Manufacturing Test Analyst (6-month Contract)
As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a manufacturing test analyst to join our Operations team. In this role, you will work alongside other manufacturing test designers to automate tests for electronics and acoustic devices, develop Power BI analytics, and improve efficiency across testing operations.
As the ideal candidate, you have a foundational understanding of manufacturing test procedures, data analytics, automation and embedded systems. You are eager to apply your skills in automation, scripting, database management, and visualization tools to streamline reporting, provide insights that drive quality improvements and automate manufacturing test processes.

You will
Develop scripts to automate tests for high volume, electronics and acoustic devices
Document test processes and test plans to meet Manufacturing Test Strategies
Develop test hardware for functional manufacturing test processes
Prototype and build Test Interface Circuits/PCBs
Debug solutions using design of experiments
Conduct and execute various test procedures throughout the design phase to evaluate, monitor, and document the performance and behavior of the Device Under Test (DUT)
Support manufacturing test systems on the production floor. Virtual and/or on-site sustaining support and trouble shooting may be required
International travel may be required (when needed)
Manage and safely store test equipment data sets and documentation
You have
A bachelor’s degree in electrical, computer engineering or a related discipline
2+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, testing or related fields. Internships or project experience in PCB design, assembly, or test automation is a plus
Basic knowledge of debugging techniques of electronics, including familiarity with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools
Hands-on experience with soldering
An understanding of electronics test methodologies and ability to follow test plans accurately
Proficiency in python programming for data scrapping, processing and analysis
Experience with libraries like BeautifulSoup and lxml (an asset)
Experience with data visualizaion software (i.e. PowerBi) (an asset)
Experience with electronics design software (i.e. KiCAD) (an asset)
Experience with Labview and TestStand (an asset)
A statistical/analytics background (an asset)
Good verbal and written communication skills
Proven interpersonal and communications skills in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
