Operator - FTP

Purpose & Key Accountabilities

• Provide support for FTP operations and perform additional duties as directed by the assigned Supervisor.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Adhere to FTP policies, procedures, and core values.


• Perform work and operate all equipment safely and efficiently in compliance with relevant legislation, company, and site policies/procedures.


• Provide general manual labour support as required.


• Load and unload fuel trucks and tanks, including fuel delivery services within the community.


• Interact professionally with community members while performing fuel deliveries, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining positive relationships.


• Shovel snow and maintain the yard in a safe and accessible condition.


• Ensure all equipment is properly and securely stored.


• Complete and maintain daily records and reports as required.


• Work in an industrial setting, with preference for candidates who have experience.


• Collaborate effectively in a team environment.


• Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.


• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Working Conditions

• Industrial work environment, with exposure to hot and cold weather conditions.


• Regular interaction with community members during fuel delivery and other customer service activities.


• Occasional overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous, Operating or labour experience considered an asset.


• Strong customer service and communication skills, particularly when working with community members.


• Valid Class 5 or Class 3 Driver’s License with Air Brakes endorsement.
