Job Description - Project Manager

ARC Business Solutions Inc. is a customer-oriented information technology solution provider with proven abilities to incorporate strategy, creativity and technical aspects into business solutions. Service delivery is focused in four main technology solution verticals: Systems Delivery, Enterprise Information Management, Training and Managed Services; with industry expertise in Energy, Utilities, Government, Financial Services and the Public Sector.

ARC Business Solutions Inc. is currently seeking individuals with experience as a Project Manager for immediate opportunities in Edmonton, AB. This is for a two year contract.

ROLE: Project Manager

Mandatory Qualifications:

PMP Certification
Scrum Master Certification
8 years demonstrated experience in developing integrated plans, portfolio and project reporting and communicating progress to senior executives.
5 years experience assisting clients to execute strategies with technology, process, organizational design and IT operations.
8 years experience in a project management role.
8 years experience in the development of project documents for a wide variety of initiatives and projects (strategic, business improvement, information technology, etc.) that adhere to legislative, legal and audit requirements for content management systems.
8 years experience supporting and collaborating directly with stakeholders, external (public users) and internal business areas. Ability to co-ordinate and communicate necessary information well to all clients.
5 years experience with various software development methodologies (i.e. agile, waterfall, scrum, Kanban, etc.).
8 years experience working with cross-functional teams to understand detailed requirements and align the design to product vision and user needs.
5 years senior leadership experience defining project scope, goals and deliverables such as roadmaps, governance, briefing notes, and business cases that support project goals in collaboration with business stakeholders.
8 years experience leading project governance, change management and communication activities.

Desired Qualifications:

3 years demonstrated experience with data integration between clinical applications
5 years demonstrated experience working as a Change Manager on a large complex custom software application development project in an large environment
5 years experience in the analysis, development, and integration of complex IT systems with a specific focus on the management of multiple data sources , web services, and legacy IT solutions.
5 years experience in understanding complex businesses questions and framing the right analytical question to solve a business problem.

Degree designations (e.g., Bachelor of Science, Computing Science, Engineering), from recognized universities is a desirable criteria in our selection process.
