About the Role We’re looking for a Pump Truck Driver/Operator based out of our Calgary facility to be the face of Pit Stop on the road, and on our customer sites. This role comes as a result of the continued growth of our business and is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver/operator that is committed to exceeding customer expectations. The right fit will have a Class 5 license (Air Endorsement required), have a clean driving record, and be an excellent communicator. You’ll be physically fit, unafraid of hard work, and be comfortable driving and operating a septic vacuum service truck throughout Calgary and the surrounding areas. If you’ve got experience hauling trailers, that’s a bonus! Cleaning and servicing the portable toilets on your daily route will make up the bulk of your day, and you’re the type of person that takes a tremendous amount of pride in being the best at something a lot of other people wouldn’t even be able to do. In summary, whether it’s a toilet you’ve just serviced, or your work vehicle at the end of a shift, you don’t walk away until you’d be proud if your mom was going to be the next person to use it!
Responsibilities
Operate the pump truck safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic regulations and safety standards.
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, including checking air brakes and fluid levels.
Collaborate with team members to coordinate delivery schedules and site requirements.
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and communicate effectively with team members.
Qualifications
Class 5 license with Q endorsement
Previous vacuum truck experience would be an asset
Strong work ethics and vast attention to detail
Knowledge of the city
A team player and can work alone when needed
Customer service focused
Safety oriented
Able to lift 50lbs
Job Type: Seasonal Work Location: Fully Onsite Pay: $24- $25 per hour
