Job Description - QA Automation Tester

Service delivery is focused in five main technology solution verticals: Systems Delivery, Enterprise Information Management, Mobile Solutions, Training and Managed Services; with industry expertise in Energy, Utilities, Government, Financial Services and the Public Sector.

ARC Business Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a QA Automation Tester for a one year contract in Edmonton, AB. Remote work acceptable.

ROLE: QA Automation Tester

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience providing application testing services for web-based software development projects
Minimum 2 year of experience developing and executing automated UI and API tests
Strong experience working within Agile/Scrum software development environments
Experience executing system, integration, regression, and UAT testing
Experience deriving test cases from user stories, functional specifications, and non-functional requirements
Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Postman, BrowserStack or equivalent, and TestNG or similar frameworks
Experience testing REST APIs and web services
Experience with defect tracking and Agile management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps
Experience with SQL and backend data validation
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Experience testing large-scale public sector or educational web platforms
Experience with accessibility testing and WCAG compliance validation
Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment testing
Experience with responsive web testing and mobile device validation
Familiarity with cloud-hosted web applications and modern DevOps practices
Experience with Git or similar source control systems
