About YOU
You are a compassionate, skilled, and client-centered mental health professional with a Master’s degree in Social Work or an equivalent field, and are registered or eligible for registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers or the College of Registered Psychotherapists. You bring at least three years of direct clinical experience working with children, youth, and families using a range of therapeutic modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy. You have experience supporting individuals with complex needs and dual diagnoses, such as ASD or FASD, and are confident in applying a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and strengths-based approach to care.
Your practice is grounded in evidence-based frameworks, and you're comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in interdisciplinary settings. You have strong communication, case management, and organizational skills, and are adept at navigating community systems to advocate effectively for clients. You’re flexible, responsive, and committed to meeting families where they are—whether in their homes, schools, or other community spaces. You're technologically proficient, familiar with virtual care environments, and possess a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
Above all, you are passionate about supporting children and families through intensive, meaningful interventions that promote resilience, safety, and long-term wellbeing.

The ROLE
As part of the Intensive services team, you will report to the Manger of Intensive services and work to provide consistent, high quality, in-home mental health interventions that foster positive outcomes and provide nurturing relationships for children, parents, and caregivers based on current research and best practices. The Intensive Therapist will work with individuals with complex needs / dual diagnoses and is expected to work collaboratively with internal and external service partners to provide optimal care. You will prioritize client safety by adhering to established policies and guidelines that ensure consistency in the delivery of quality and safe care and, by identifying and reporting any client safety incidents. You are also committed to supporting client-centered care by adhering to ROCK’s principles.
Please note that this is a contract full-time position, working 35 hours per week covering a staff leave with a planned end date of September 28th 2026 or until the staff on leave returns, whichever is earlier.
