RQ10387 - Specialized IT Consultant - Senior

Responsibilities:

• Works in partnership with clients, advising them on information technology in order to meet their business objectives or overcome problems, work to improve structure and efficiency of an organization’s I&IT systems.
  


• The I&IT Consultant may be used to provide strategic guidance to organizations with regard to Information Management & IT technology, IT infrastructures and the enablement of major business processes through enhancements to IT.
  


• Provides subject matter expertise in their field and highly expert technical assistance.
  

General Skills:

• Acts as the technical advisor/expert on all aspects of a specific deliverable
  


• Provide the quality assurance/quality control of specific deliverables
  


• Anticipates and resolves problems to ensure that the deliverables are completed within budget, to the highest quality, meeting or exceeding expectations
  


• Develops processes and procedures for implementing deliverables
  


• Prepares reports and presentations including options, recommendations, implementation plans, etc.
  


• Works with clients to define the scope of a project and to determine requirements
  


• Defines software, hardware and network requirements
  


• Analyzes I&IT requirements giving independent and objective advice on the use of I&IT
  


• Designs, tests, installs and monitors new systems and develops solutions and implementation of new systems
  


• Familiar with change\-management principles and methodology
  


• Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices
  

Requirements

Experience and Skill Set Requirements:

Must Haves:

• Hands\-on experience in multiple large scale Oracle data masking and sub setting projects to mask copies of Production data.
  


• Hand\-on experience with Oracle Data masking and sub setting pack using OEM.
  


• Expert level knowledge in best practices for implementing data masking in enterprise environments.
  

Skill Set Requirements:

Technical Knowledge and experience:

• Hands\-on experience in multiple large scale Oracle data masking and sub setting projects to mask copes of Production data.
  


• Hand\-on experience with Oracle Data masking and sub setting pack using OEM.
  


• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for Oracle databases.
  


• Expert level knowledge in best practices for implementing data masking in enterprise environments.
  


• Deep understanding of Oracle Database 19c, including its architecture, features, and performance optimization on Exadata platforms.
  


• Experience in Oracle Exadata, EBS, Weblogic, ASM/RAC, Siebel is an asset
  


• Understanding of audit requirements and how data masking can address specific audit findings related to data privacy and security.
  

Methodology, testing, and troubleshooting:

• Excellent analytical, problem\-solving and decision\-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills
  


• Experience working in agile development environment
  


• Ability to provide user and system documentation as required
  


• Contribute to the effective management of risks and issues associated with Solution designs
  


• Collaborate with cross\-functional and distributed teams, including designers, developers, architects, project managers, and QA
  


• Promotes industry standards and best practices with the product teams.
  


• Perform thorough code reviews including unit tests and ensure high quality of the software.
  


• Fix defects and support developers, testers and end users
  

Planning, documentation, and communication:

• Prepare work plans with CYSSC Managers, report and adjust completion status, report issues and risks in a timely manner
  


• Write technical documentation that supports and thoroughly explains the architecture
  


• Deliver knowledge transfer sessions to the team on the work completed
