RQ10426 - DevOPS/Cloud Engineer - Senior

Responsibilities:

• Creation of functional and technical specifications for systems development, analyze requirements and help project team in solution, technical design, implementation, and support.
  


• Work with the project team in completing all relevant and required documentation in alignment with OPS standards.

• Design, implement and work with the project team in completing all relevant and required documentation in alignment with OPS standards
  


• Undertake special assignments/sub\-projects as assigned
  


• Conduct, assess, evaluate and document stakeholder interests and business needs
  


• Create and validate business scenarios and use cases
  


• Produce visual depiction of use cases and process flows; ensure alignment with the program area and associated business architecture, as well as traceability to solution logical and physical architectures
  


• Create, review, provide input and support of Enterprise Architecture artifacts for all checkpoints as required
  


• Create system and user interface design and modifications (data & screen) as required
  


• Review all test scenarios to ensure the requirements are met; establish traceability matrix to monitor output
  


• Ensure alignment and adherence to Ministry of Government Services’ processes and standards
  


• Support the testing team during system and UAT testing
  


• Participate in Knowledge transfer
  


• Monitor and assess the performance of applications in a cloud environment to ensure solutions are available
  


• Outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for Azure cloud products (Data Factory, Databricks, DevOPS, GIT, etc.)
  


• Create, test and implement safeguards to maintain data integrity and protect against unauthorized access
  

Requirements

Experience and Skill Set Requirements:

Must Have:

 Azure Data Factory (ADF) orchestration & integration:

• Self\-hosted IR management and troubleshooting
  


• (Pipeline development, monitoring, CI/CD integration)
  

Databricks administration:

• Workspace configuration, cluster policies, access control (UC or legacy)
  


• Monitoring jobs, clusters, costs, and performance
  

CI/CD for ADF, Databricks, and analytics assets:                        

• Git integration (Azure DevOps or GitHub)
  


• Automated deployment pipelines
  

Skill Set Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• In depth Azure technical knowledge, DevOps, Linux, Git
  

Analytical and Problem\-Solving Skills:

• Assess architecture strategies, analyze / implement /support highly technical solutions
  

Communication Skills:

• Writing skills, Negotiating skills
  

OPS Experience:

• 5 Years of OPS Experience
