RQ10497 - Technology Architect - Senior

Deliverables: 

• Support existing storage infrastructure. 
  


• Intergrade new storage infrastructure.
  

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and implement approved changes to existing storage arrays, fiber switches and management applications.
  


• Work with clients and vendors on any issues or changes as required. 
  


• Work with team and solutions on refreshes, expansions and new infrastructure being deployed as required.
  


• Perform acceptance process as new infrastructure is transitioned from Solutions/Build team to Data Center Operations.
  


• Educate rest of team and prepare operational documentation for new technologies being added.
  

Requirements

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Enterprise Tier 4 Storage Infrastructure experience \- 25%

Parameters:

• 10+ years experience providing oversight to support storage infrastructure. 
  


• Demonstrated experience overseeing refresh and transition activities, as well as team resources associated with the migration. 
  


• Demonstrated experience with replacement of large enterprise complex services and hardware at large critical locations. 
  


• Demonstrated experience and in\-depth knowledge of modern Data Centre service models combined with a solid background in contemporary Data Centre approaches.
  

 

Recent Experience \- 15%

Parameters:

• Within 3 years.
  

 

Documentation and Communication Skills \- 15%

Parameters:

• Demonstrated experience with assisting transition and refresh. 
  


• Demonstrated experience in change management activities.  
  


• Demonstrated ability for strong documentation and writing skills.
  

 

 

Project Management \- 15%

Parameters:

• 10+ years demonstrated experience in complex projects related to data center uplifts, migrations.
