Position Description:
Reporting to the Jr. Controller, the Corporate Accounting Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day execution of the company’s accounting and administrative functions.
This is an on-site position at our London, Ontario, office. Must be able to legally work in Canada. This position is a 10 month contract.
Positions Available: 1
Responsibilities:
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
Manage employee expense report submissions and company credit card reconciliations
Treasury and cash management activities
Prepare and submit government remittances
Prepare month-end reconciliations for balance sheet accounts including but not limited to: bank accounts, accounts receivable, prepaid expenses, credit cards, accounts payable, and accrued liabilities
Prepare and maintain working papers and journal entries for period-end close
Maintain customer billing information in Salesforce ERP
Maintain, and adhere to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Investigate and correct errors and discrepancies in account balances
Providing information and support to the company’s year end accounting audit engagements
Reporting and special projects where required such as ERP or accounting system conversion, banking conversions, etc.
Other tasks as assigned
Experience Required:
Three (3) to five (5) years accounting experience in a similar environment
Strong practical knowledge of accounting practices and standards
Proficient with financial software: QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word
