ServiceNow Developer

KalSoft is currently looking for a ServiceNow Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be based in Canada and bring hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and integrating solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role requires strong technical expertise in ServiceNow development, workflow automation, and enterprise IT service management solutions, with a focus on delivering scalable, efficient, and user-centric applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and customize solutions on the ServiceNow platform based on business and client requirements
• Configure and enhance ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and workflow modules to improve operational efficiency
• Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using APIs, web services, and scripting
• Build and customize Service Portal components and user interfaces to enhance user experience
• Implement automation solutions and workflows to streamline IT and business processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, ensuring system stability, performance, and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions
• Perform testing, deployment, and documentation of ServiceNow enhancements and custom applications
• Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow platform capabilities, releases, and best practices
• Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfer, and support to internal teams and clients

Skills & Experience Required:

• Applicants must be Canadian residents (preferably in Toronto or Ontario)
• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform development
• Expertise in ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and workflow customization
• Strong integration and scripting capabilities within ServiceNow
• Experience with Service Portal development and automation solutions preferred
• Knowledge of JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and integration frameworks
• Understanding of ServiceNow best practices, governance, and platform architecture
• ServiceNow certifications would be considered an added advantage
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and client-facing skills
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant ServiceNow development experience
