The Opportunity



We are looking to hire a Student Advisor to join our busy Student Success Team for a 12 month contract, with the possibility of renewal. Reporting to the Student Success Manager, the Student Advisor is responsible for providing our applicants with exceptional customer service throughout their journey (from the time they inquire until they depart for Australia or New Zealand). This role requires the Student Advisor to respond to student concerns via e-mail and telephone, to ensure that each student is provided with correct and timely information about studying in Australia or New Zealand.

The successful candidate is a collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings the following strengths:




  • Empathy: Ability to actively listen and validate student experiences in order to build trust and help personalize their journey. 

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills will help to build relationships with student applicants and ensure they are receiving proactive and clear communication. 

  • Adaptability: Comfortable adjusting to change, learning quickly, and staying positive in new or uncertain situations. 

  • Resourcefulness: Capable of solving problems, taking initiative, and being creative. 

  • Organizational skills: Strong attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines and stay composed under pressure. 

  • Critical analysis: Ability to evaluate information, consider multiple perspectives, and make well-reasoned decisions. 

  • Computer proficiency: Experience with common applications such as Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook; CRM experience is an asset.
