Summer Students (Behchokǫ̀)

Tłı̨chǫ Property Management and Tłı̨chǫ Community Builders are hiring for Summer Students in Behchokǫ̀ for general labour work for the summer. This opportunity is ideal for students who enjoy hands-on tasks, want to gain work experience, and contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of community properties.

Summer Students (TPM)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with basic maintenance and repair work


• Work yard (Nishi Khon)/worksite clean up


• Yard work and groundskeeping (e.g. grass cutting, garbage pickup)


• Cleaning and organizing storage or work areas


• Moving supplies or materials as directed


• Supporting other staff with tasks as needed

• Motivated and dependable students who are eager to work


• Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks


• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labour


• Positive attitude and strong work ethic


• Respectful, safety-minded, and able to follow instructions

Eligibility & Qualifications:

• Must be a returning student in Fall 2025 (high school or post-secondary)


• Must be resident of Behchokǫ̀


• Able to follow instructions and work safely


• Reliable, physically able to do labour work, and willing to learn


• Class 5 Driver's license an asset
