About the Supply Chain Specialist Role


This role owns and delivers inventory planning, purchasing, supplier performance control, and data governance for two warehouses, one in Alberta, one in British Columbia. The ideal candidate will ensure that supply aligns with demand, optimize inventory levels, and maintain accurate master data.


 


Key Deliverables



  • Execute inventory planning and purchasing activities (BTO/BTS).

  • Control inbound flow of goods and inter-warehouse transfers.

  • Manage aging inventory to reduce slow-moving stock and warehousing costs.

  • Monitor supplier delivery performance, identify risks, and escalate issues.

  • Maintain item master and logistical data governance for all SKUs.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Strong Communication Skills: Clear coordination with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders.


Organizational Skills: Managing multiple priorities, timelines, and processes efficiently.


Proactive Approach: Anticipating risks and acting before issues escalate.


Resilience Under Pressure: Ability to stay calm and effective during tight deadlines or unexpected challenges.


Collaboration & Team Orientation: Ability to deliver results as a proactive, hands-on self-starter while collaborating effectively across departments and building strong partnerships with external stakeholders.


 


Qualifications



  • Post secondary degree or diploma in Logistics, or equivalent experience. 

  • Supply Chain Certifications/designations is an asset

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in supply chain operations.

  • Strong, advanced knowledge of Excel and data analysis skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.


 


Physical Demands



  • Position is mostly sedentary and requires use of computers for long periods of time.
