Wage range: $33.92 - $41.70 per hour Shift structure: Monday to Friday, 7.25 hours per day Primary location: CASA West Union: In-scope Classification: Therapy Support Navigator FTE: 1.00 Status: Temporary (until October 2026) About the Role Core is the first stop for most families who come to CASA. The program serves children ages three to 17 and provides general mental health treatment for a wide range of concerns. From Core, the therapist is able to step families up or down into more appropriate levels of service if needed.
The Therapy Support Navigator will:
Assist Mental Health Therapists with assessment interviews as needed.
Participate in the case management of assigned caseload.
Engage in facility, school and/or home observations and prepare observation reports for Mental Health Therapists.
Provide hands-on modelling and coaching to family members as determined by the Mental Health Therapist and guided by the treatment plan.
Complete weekly phone contacts with families as assigned to review treatment strategies and gather updates for the treatment team.
Conduct phone calls on behalf of clinicians (i.e. to schools, parents) to gather information or explain strategies to assist the patient to be successful in school and at home.
Assist in therapeutic groups (facilitation, set up and take down, observation, note taking) as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in social work, child and youth care, early childhood education or a related discipline such as psychology or social sciences.
Practical experience in a children’s mental health treatment setting.
Must maintain Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) certification (training provided by CASA) and be physically able to perform all interventions.
Individuals eligible for registration under the Health Professions Act must maintain active registration.
Individuals may require authorization/permission under regulation to perform restricted psychosocial interventions and/or restricted activities.

A satisfactory Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Intervention Check. This would be the financial responsibility of the successful candidate.
