Water & Sewer Support Operator

Summary of Position

Reporting to the foreman, operators are an integral member of field operations, responsible for providing support on all of our water and sewer projects.

Role and Responsibilities

Backfill around project sites as needed

Move material, such as pipe, around site to meet project demands

Need experience on a loader, excavator with a hoe pack, padfoot packer, bobcat

Experience operating around utilities in a congested area

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Training and Education

Candidates must have a minimum 1+ year(s) of directly related experience

Successful candidates must have valid driver’s license and clean drivers record, CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, and Ground Disturbance level 2

Asset to run dozer & track loader

Able to lift 50 lbs. unaided

Working Conditions

Workers are expected to be able to do physically demanding work in different positions (kneeling, standing, etc.).  They will spend a large portion of their time operating a piece of equipment.  The successful applicants will be working outdoors in dusty and underground environments, including sewers, through all weather conditions.
