Description

We are currently seeking an eager and motivated Welder to join our dynamic team for a project at the Red Deer location. As an Welder, you will assist with the fabrication and assembly of components for various solar projects, using your hands-on experience and working with experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

• Measure, fitting and fabrication tasks, with precision and quality


• Operate equipment, overhead crane, plasma cutter, bandsaw, and standard welding tools


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment


• Report any issues or potential hazards to the Welding Supervisor


• Follow company policies and procedures regarding work processes and safety

Requirements

• 
  Experience with MIG welding, and interpreting blueprints/engineered drawings


• 
  Journeyman by hand is preferred but experience and skill will be accepted


• 
  Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs


• 
  Attention to detail and a commitment to quality


• 
  Understanding of basic safety practices and willingness to follow safety protocols


• 
  Flexibility to work additional hours, including overtime, as project demands require
