Work Model: 4 days in office, 1 day at home Our client in the Engineering space is looking for an Assistant Bookkeeper to join their team. Working with the accounting team and responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

AR/AP, invoice preparation, issuance & vendor postings.
Reconciling various disbursement billings and payments.
Post & maintain journal entries.
Issue monthly vendor statements and follow up AR payments.
General office admin tasks and supportive duties.

Requirements:

Accounting Diploma certification or equivalent.
Strong data entry skills.
1-5 years of general accounting experience.
Experience in Engineering/Architectural or professional services office (preferred).
Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Onedrive. etc.), Quickbooks, or Deltek (preferred).
Have attention to detail and be well organized.
Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
Strong work ethic.
Computer savvy: able to learn new software quickly.
