Financial Controller

As a Financial Controller your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Manage the accounting operations including review of journal entries, payroll, accounts payable
• Work with Operations to define, measure, analyze, improve and control current processes
• Provide strategic analysis as required to drive improved decision making
• Prepare and present financial information for monthly results
• Ensure the company is in compliance with all relevant regulations and ensure required filings are completed in a timely manner
• Implementation and management of internal controls with respect to financial policies, processes and procedures
• Oversee the management of payroll function ensuring efficient systems, processes and controls are in place

Requirements of the role:

• CPA accreditation
• Knowledge of percentage of completion accounting method
• Knowledge in corporate accounting and financial management with a minimum 5 years experience
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Technical proficiency - Google Suite, Excel, Accounting Software
• Leadership management skills
• Adaptability and willingness to learn on an ongoing basis
