Our client is currently looking for a Junior Accountant to join their team! If you like keeping busy, being organized, and have a love for numbers, this role is for you!
Available Shifts: Monday to Friday
Rate of Pay: $22.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
• Receives invoices from suppliers; process payments
• General bookkeeping, such as journal entries
• Perform weekly/month end reconciliation
• Assist with payroll remittances and expenses
• Assist with ACH's, EFT's, and cheques for weekly payments
• General Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties
• Provide support to senior accountants
Candidate Qualification:
• Previous Sage experience considered asset
• Proficient use of excel
• Strong mult-tasking abilities
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• High Attention to detail
• Relevant schooling (Diploma in Accounting etc)
