Regional Account Manager, Ontario East


Our client, a specialty food importer and distributor, isseeking an entrepreneurial and results-driven Regional Account Manager to join their team. Covering Eastern Ontario, this role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing relationships with key decision-makers at retailers within the territory, driving product visibility, and ensuring the success of their brands in the region.



This role offers a competitive base salary, performance-based bonus, car allowance, vacation and exclusive discounts on company products.





Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management: Maintain and elevate current relationships with key decision-makers at retailers within the territory.
  • Product Management: Oversee product assortment, manage new listings, promotions, and seasonal programs.
  • Order Processing: Submit customer orders via the company’s mobile sales platform.
  • Brand Ambassador: Act as a brand ambassador and educator, guiding category positioning and messaging.
  • Store Penetration: Expand item store count penetration and develop business with new clients.
  • Product Flow: Cover product flow and ensure freshness.
  • Event Oversight: Oversee tastings, demonstrations, and other events.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with sales team members to share learnings, successes, best practices, and evaluate new products.
  • Industry Participation: Participate in trade shows and other industry events as needed.
  • Field Insights: Share insights based on field activity.


Key Requirements:

  • 3-5 years B2B sales experience in the Food, Beverages, Culinary, or Wellness industries.
  • Proven ability to manage and elevate key account relationships.
  • Strong understanding of product assortment, promotions, and category management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to oversee events and drive business development initiatives.
  • University Degree in Business or a related field.
  • MS Office proficiency.
