Remote Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and independent Remote Accountant to join our team at HarperCollins Canada. As a remote accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This entry-level position offers a great opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in accounting.

Responsibilities: - Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll - Prepare financial statements and reports for management - Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data - Assist with budgeting and forecasting - Help with tax preparation and compliance - Communicate with clients, vendors, and colleagues as needed - Work independently and collaborate with team members as necessary
