Accountant - Work from home

Job Description:

Marathon Petroleum is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Accountant to work from home in Toronto, Ontario. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for financial reporting, analyzing financial data, preparing budgets, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain financial records - Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement - Prepare and present financial reports to management - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Ensure compliance with all financial regulations - Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes - Handle tax filings and audits - Participate in special projects as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - 4+ years of experience in a similar role - Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations - Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment - Strong time management skills
