Remote Accounts Payable

Job Description:

Nordstrom is currently seeking a Remote Accounts Payable professional to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia. This full-time position is perfect for an entry-level candidate with at least 1 year of experience in accounts payable.

Responsibilities: - Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate and timely payments - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable - Maintain vendor files and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures - Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues - Work collaboratively with the finance team to improve processes and efficiencies - Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data related to accounts payable

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred - 1+ years of experience in accounts payable or related field - Resourceful and confident attitude - Strong teamwork skills and ability to communicate effectively - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Excellent presentation skills - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
