Accounts Receivable

Job Description:

Owens-Illinois is currently seeking a dedicated and resourceful individual to join our Accounts Receivable team in Montreal, Quebec, CA. This entry-level position requires at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, as well as high emotional intelligence to effectively communicate with clients and team members.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and send out invoices to customers - Reconcile accounts to ensure payments are received in a timely manner - Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve any discrepancies - Maintain accurate records of transactions and update the database as needed - Assist with month-end closing activities - Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - 1+ year of experience in accounts receivable or related field - Strong project management skills - High emotional intelligence and ability to work well in a team - Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
