Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Account Supervisor in Delta, British Columbia!

JOB DETAILS:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday 0615 to 1415 hours
  • Hourly wage: $23
  • Must possess valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to commute to the site.
  • Must have atleast 1 or more year (s) of Security Supervisory experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Strategically lead and manage a large-scale guard force service and Operations ensuring that it is customer focused, reliable, experiences minimal turnover, and achieves or surpasses agreed upon service level performance and process improvements.
  • Strategize and partner directly with Senior Leadership, Operations, and Loss Prevention to assist and support them in meeting compliance requirements related to IT and/or Physical Security.
  • Serve as department's liaison and security subject matter expert.
  • Accomplish department objectives by establishing action plans, timetables, and outcome measurements, obtaining and allocating resource, reviewing progress and making mid-course corrections.
  • Ensure comprehension of current Emergency Response Plan at all facilities.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Be at least 19 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
  • Licensing requirements are subject to province and/or local laws and regulations and will be required prior to employment.
  • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background check
  • Display e xceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
  • Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
  • Able to:
    • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
    • Occasionally lift or carry up to 20 kilograms
    • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
    • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
