• Manage full cycle accounting for client projects, ensuring compliance with ASPE standards.
• Review monthly financial statements and bank draws, providing insights for decision-making.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, highlighting key performance metrics.
• Approve journal entries and reconcile accounts, maintaining accuracy and internal controls.
• Communicate professionally with external stakeholders, including banks and auditors.
• Collaborate with operational teams to gather financial data and support project planning.
• Prepare and review tax returns, optimizing tax efficiency and ensuring compliance.
• Monitor project cash flow and assist with job cost allocations and analysis.
• Develop and document accounting processes, incorporating best practices.
• Mentor one direct report and contribute to team meetings and initiatives.
• Provide ad hoc financial analyses and support strategic decision-making.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support the accounting team and organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA designation is a must.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in GAAP principles and financial reporting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

Employment Details

• Benefits: 40 Hours weekly, Permanent, Full-Time, Hybrid/Onsite
