About the Opportunity

• Performs together with the finance team all duties associated with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Performs full cycle month end close process including preparing journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepares monthly credit card reconciliations and related journal entries.
• Files monthly sales tax and EHT returns.
• Performs daily banking, settlement and related cash management/treasury functions in both Canadian and US bank environments.
• Performs US, Canadian and Euro bank reconciliations, as applicable and subject to segregation of duties.
• Provides variance analysis for P&L on a monthly basis in comparison to budget; including customer margin analysis and root-cause analysis.
• Supports the Controller in building forecasting models.
• Supports in the preparation of various management and customer reports, leveraging BI visualization tools with implementation of automation options whenever possible.
• Participates in the rollout of finance projects and initiatives.
• Acts as a liaison and builds relationships with all departments to resolve accounting issues.
• Provides direction and feedback to junior assistants.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline from an accredited institution.
• CPA designation or in progress.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity

Salary Range
$80,000 - $90,000/year How to Apply
