Job Description - Senior Corporate Accountant

Senior Corporate Accountant Location Toronto, ON : SENIOR CORPORATE ACCOUNTANT Objective The Senior Corporate Accountant is a critical member of the Finance team, responsible for providing financial analysis and reporting to senior management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as experience in a corporate environment. Responsibilities:
Prepare financial statements and reports, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
Analyze financial data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
Manage the budget and forecast financial performance
Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions
Prepare tax returns and filings
Administer the company's financial policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
CPA certification preferred
5+ years of experience in a corporate accounting role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
