With current U.S. assets under management valued at $20 billion, our client offers many career opportunities. They are currently seeking an Accountant – Reporting & Lender Relations.

As the Accountant – Reporting & Lender Relations, you will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual subsidiary financial statements; and provide them to assist external auditors when required. You will prepare or analyze financial-related reporting for lenders, including debt service coverage ratios, certificates, cash flow forecast ratios, variance analysis,distribution tests, operating reports and assist in responding to queries from our lenders. You will work to build and maintain working relationships with lenders and partners and provide first-line of response on inquiries while ensuring that appropriate and adequate internal controls over financial reporting are in place and operating correctly. You will ensure our compliance forms are completed accurately for all government entities and continue to monitor ongoing compliance.

The Ideal Candidate will have 1+ years of relevant experience in a similar function and hold or be in the process of completing their CPA designation. They will require a working knowledge of IFRS and U.S GAAP with strong analytical abilities to work confidently in a dynamic and very fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills written and oral with financial statement auditing experience.

• Big 4 experience or experience working with large, multi-national corporations with numerous and varying reporting requirements 
• Experience working with credit agreements
• Knowledge and practical experience with Insight Software's Certent CDM & Disclosure Management, Workiva's Wdesk, IBM Cognos Controller, IFS, OneStream or Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Bilingualism (French and English) is a strong asset
