In this pivotal role, you will support office operations, manage vendors, support employee needs, and foster a welcoming and secure office environment. The ideal candidate is adept at working both independently and collaboratively, with a keen eye for process improvement and exceptional organizational skills. Salary range: The salary range for this role is $49,000 - $73,000 per annum. McElhanney offers fair compensation that is commensurate with the individual’s education, experience, skills, and professional qualifications. The posted base salary range is representative of the required level of qualifications and experience for the position as noted in the job posting. The salary offered will be based on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate. What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Provide branch reception services such as, answering phone, greeting clients, handling incoming and outgoing mail and couriers
  • Support the Project Manager with regular project related invoicing, and reporting on project status (schedule, costs, project setups & closures)
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, conference registration, and staff travel arrangements
  • Assist with composing letters, memoranda, and e-mail correspondence as necessary
  • Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning, archiving, and disposal of branch documents
  • Coordinate internal and external events
  • Proficiency in creating engaging and visually appealing materials and internal communications is an asset.
  • Assisting in preparation of proposals for consistency, grammar, and key messaging
  • Manage inventory of office supplies and coordinate supply orders
  • Assisting in scheduling vehicle maintenance
  • Contribute to a safe, clean, and positive office environment
  • Execute a range of other duties as required
What You’ll Bring:
  • Minimum 3 years’ prior office experience in administrative support role; formal training in an administration program is required.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
  • Experience with technical writing, and or experience with the professional consulting industry is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail, good multi-tasking and proofreading abilities, punctual and the ability to work independently in a busy environment.
  • Personable, professional demeanor, and a team player with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to take initiative and aptitude for quick learning
  • Knowledge of basic accounting/bookkeeping functions and theory.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
