Business Analyst

Description Are you passionate about driving business transformation through data-driven insights and strategic planning? Robert Half is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our client's team and play a pivotal role in digital strategy and IT implementations. As a Business Analyst, you'll be instrumental in partnering with various departments to understand their needs, analyze data, and recommend changes that have a direct impact on business operations. You'll work closely with the Digital Strategy & Implementation Manager and the Information Technology Manager to ensure that our client is meeting the company's goals effectively. What You'll Do

• Identify Opportunities: Gather and analyze data to uncover business opportunities for operational improvement.
• Drive Solutions: Develop and deliver solutions that offer tangible benefits, from quick wins to long-term initiatives.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with stakeholders across departments to understand their requirements and support the implementation of new processes.
• Project Management: Assist with managing select projects from inception to completion.
• Test and Optimize: Test business processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements.
• Document Requirements: Create clear business requirements and training documents to ensure seamless communication.
• Leverage Technology: Identify opportunities for automation and use data visualization tools to inform decision-making.

Requirements What You Bring:

• Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with at least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager. Strong technical background with 2-3 years in software-related technical analysis.
• Skillset: Proficiency in SQL, Business Intelligence (BI), and a solid understanding of software development life cycles, including ERP and WMS systems.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with various functional teams, including Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Engineering, and Information Systems.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for explaining complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Problem Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on enterprise-wide solutions.
• Travel: Ability to travel between the United States and Canada.
• Preferred Knowledge: Experience in the oilfield and drilling industry is a plus.
