MatchBox Consulting Group is looking for a Business Development Representative in Surrey, BC. Our client stands as a global leader in providing mechanical pipe joining, flow control, and fire protection solutions tailored for the most intricate piping needs.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders to develop and expand new business opportunities within the construction community.
• Take on an autonomous leadership role while collaborating with a skilled team.
• Raise awareness of the product’s solutions and drive change by understanding the construction market deeply.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the product’s market solutions and services, and engage with stakeholders to establish and uphold engineering standards.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in construction and engineering, demonstrating relevance to the role.
• Proven track record in sales, encompassing account management and target achievement, particularly in complex sales targeting owners and engineering professionals.
• Proficient in engineering, including writing and developing design specifications.
• Excellent communication skills, coupled with a professional demeanor and appearance, with a willingness to travel as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration (BCOM); Master’s degree in Mechanical or Construction Management, or MBA, is advantageous.
