Credit Analyst

Description Are you a skilled Credit Analyst with a knack for collections and reconciliations? Our client, a reputable company in Oakville, Ontario, is seeking a talented individual like you to join their team on a 3-6 month contract basis. If you're passionate about analyzing credit data, managing collections, and ensuring accurate financial reconciliations, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough credit analyses to assess the creditworthiness of customers and determine appropriate credit limits.
• Manage collections efforts, including contacting customers regarding overdue payments, negotiating payment plans, and resolving payment discrepancies.
• Reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales and finance teams, to address credit-related issues and optimize collections processes.
• Monitor aging reports and escalate delinquent accounts as necessary.
• Prepare and present regular reports on collection activities and account reconciliations to management.

Requirements Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Credit Analyst, Collections Specialist, or similar role, with a focus on collections and reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of credit analysis principles, collections techniques, and financial reconciliations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
