Summary We seek an experienced and skilled Database Administrator to join our team and play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud database infrastructure. The successful candidate will possess a good understanding of database technologies and a proven track record of delivering successful projects in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and design scalable cloud database architectures.
• Ensure the smooth implementation and maintenance of database systems.
• Develop and implement database management strategies, including data governance and data security measures.
• Monitor and analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure high availability and scalability of database systems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud computing, data management, and database technologies, and recommend improvements to existing systems.
• Work closely with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory and industry standards.
• Document and maintain technical documentation related to the work done.
• Participate in capacity planning exercises and ensure efficient resource utilization.

Critical Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in database management.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS).
• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Ansible Automation and Shell Programming.
• Experience in working with complex database architectures.
• Familiarity with Oracle OMS and Oracle TDE.
• Experience in using database backup, monitoring and performance tools.
• Experience in designing and implementing database architectures.
• Experience in data security.
• Familiarity with Python.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Certifications Additional Requirements

• Familiarity with database security and compliance regulations.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience in DevOps practices and methodologies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
