Land and Sky Grains is a progressive grain farm committed to empowering sustainable agriculture and is seeking a permanent Farm Equipment Operator.   Are you an excellent equipment operator, knowledgeable about leading agriculture production methods and technology? Essential Functions:
Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment in tillage, seeding, spraying, harvesting and hauling grain
Work with the team to maintain equipment and shop; including daily preventative maintenance
Use technology hardware/software for efficient task completion and accurate data collection; Essential Qualifications:
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to frequently lift and carry items up to 50 lbs
Willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions
Class 5 Drivers license
Experience in crop farming
GIS/GPS technology knowledge
Strong communication skills
Ability to work longer hours during critical seasons
Excellent interpersonal skills
Flexibility in adapting to a wide variety of tasks and functions Assets:
Post-Secondary education;
Class 1A license;
Heavy equipment maintenance experience;
Administrative experience;
Leadership experience. Compensation Package:
Wages start at $25/hr or more, contingent upon experience. There will be periodic wage reviews and the ability to move within the scale.  Career advancement opportunities will be available for high performing employees.
