Job Description:Job Description Our client has a need for a Financial Clerk. / Office Administrator Duties and ResponsibilitiesYour duties and responsibilities shall be consistent with the duties and responsibilities of a Financial Clerk/Office Administrator, including but not limited to the following:• Receivable Invoices:Constantly review Orders Ready to Be Invoiced/Truck Order Master Report on a daily basis to determine if order can be converted into Receivable invoice based on final BOL and all requirements met and let Financial Manager know of situation if not getting information to complete your taskOnce determined it can be converted to a Receivable invoice; send-off via email to Customer along with appropriate BOL and the requirements identified by customer • Driver Pay:Determine, check and provide to Financial Manager Driver and Owner Operator Pay BOLs in a timely manner, aware of pay cut-off datesConfirm all costs associated with order are entered or quote of work is entered • Payable Invoices:Support the Financial Manager in entering into Axon the proper payable info including correct tax amount and confirming supporting BOL meets all the requirements for the invoice to get paidConfirm quote and invoice match and if they don’t question why the discrepancyObtain quotes from towing companies and provide all info necessary: tow charge, fuel surcharge, storage charges etc. • Bank ReconciliationsAssisting Manager with all bank accounts reconciliations, if time allows when primary responsibilities are completed • GST/HST ReconciliationsAssisting Manager with monthly submissions of GST/HST filings, if time allows when primary responsibilities are completed•Credit card book: Primarily responsible for running and settling credit cards and record all needed information in the credit card book on a daily basis and entering in AxonYou will be primary contact for credit card supplier, evaluating best pricing on a yearly basis • Phone calls:Answer the phone when co-workers are on the phone Qualifications:Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines.Adherence to policies, procedures and instructions.Strong problem solving & analytical skillsSelf-starter with solid organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities or re-prioritization of projects.Hands-on experience with accounting software packages.Accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced business environment.Financial management acumen and technical skills.
