ABOUT THE ROLE

We are actively seeking a talented and experienced Full-Stack Developer with a strong emphasis on Angular Front-End to lead the technical migration of our client's Admiral application to the cutting-edge bAV-Admiral Portal. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing security measures, improving maintainability, and streamlining administration processes. The primary focus will be on migrating the existing Java Struts Framework to Spring Boot and Angular, while leveraging knowledge of Tabex/JTC and Keycloak/LDAP.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the technical migration of the Admiral application to the bAV-Admiral Portal, prioritizing security, maintainability, and administration enhancements.
• Utilize expertise in Angular Front-End development to implement R+V Guidelines and Style Guide, ensuring adherence to accessibility standards outlined in WCAG.
• Integrate the Angular Frontend seamlessly with Magnolia CMS through API for a cohesive user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R+V departments, software developers, and stakeholders, to foster a shared understanding of the software development goals.
• Define and document quality criteria collaboratively, covering various aspects of software development and configuration.
• Install software components and, if needed, frontend databases (In-Memory).
• Design and implement the concrete software architecture, emphasizing the Backend for Frontend (BFF-Pattern), and craft efficient source code.
• Define, implement, or configure interfaces between Frontend and backend components of the bAV Portal.
• Write comprehensive test cases and methods in the code to ensure the reliability of the software.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for the newly introduced software.
• Apply knowledge of common programming languages (JS and Angular) and Cloud Native/Microservices architectures and frameworks suitable for the cloud, such as the Private RuV Cloud.
• Implement performance optimizations, including data compression, to enhance Frontend efficiency.
• Demonstrate proficiency in common DevOps tools, managing the entire code delivery pipeline from repository to deployment.

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer with a focus on Angular Front-End development.
• In-depth knowledge of Angular Standard UI Components Library and experience in aligning with existing style guides.
• Familiarity with security best practices, including OWASP standards.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies (SCRUM), Scaled Agile Framework, and Micro-Frontends.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Previous exposure to database migration, particularly to Postgres.
• Proficiency in programming languages: CSS, HTML, Angular JS, Java, Spring Boot.
• Experience in integrating Frontend with API Management.
• Familiarity with CMS tools, specifically Magnolia WSWIG / Magnolia API (Headless CMS).
