Job SummaryAs part of the Data Shared Services team, the Manager, Data Lineage and Controls will be responsible for all aspects of the data lineage lifecycle from the original source of the data to the point of consumption of the data into a report, including any associated data transformations. The ideal candidate will work closely with various Stakeholders to contribute towards policies, standards and procedures in support of Data LineageThis is a people manger role. What will you do? Providing senior leadership, direction and methodology for analysis, structure and storage of critical organizational data.

Monitoring and reviewing major organizational activities and goals to ensure important data needs are anticipated, and met. Overseeing the integrity and maintenance of organizational data. Reviewing and recommending policies and procedures for collecting and managing organization data.

Proficiency with and ability to deliver Lineage process effectivelyWhat do you need to succeed? Must Have4+ years experience in data management. data lineage capture, data analysis or any other related data programsPost-Secondary education or equivalent in Finance, Data Analysis or other related programsExperience with data manipulation and analysis tools such as Datameer, SQL, PythonExperience with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) controls and complianceExperience with data governance and metadata management tools such as CollibraExperience handling and deriving information from large data sets.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technology staff at different levels of seniority. Nice to HaveGraduate / post-graduate or professional designations or equivalentMinimum 2 years of deep and broad management consulting experience with an emphasis on business strategy or Process / Productivity ImprovementsLean or Process Improvement DesignationsWhat’s in it for you?
