Material Handler

Responsible for completing and receiving customer orders, managing incoming shipments, re-stocking inventory, packing and loading orders for shipments and completing all necessary documents.

Material Handler

Ottawa - From $23.00 per hour

Responsible for completing and receiving customer orders, managing incoming shipments, re-stocking inventory, packing and loading orders for shipments and completing all necessary documents.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure orders are picked up and completed on time.
• Locate and pick products and materials according to requirements, build orders to completion, label and prepare orders, and ensure documentation is filed.
• Load trucks while ensuring all product/material loaded is secure and safe prior to vehicle movement.
• Unload trucks, while receiving and re-stocking inventory, verifying accuracy of product/material match with labels.
• Participate in warehouse inventory.
• Respond to warehouse inquiries as required.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year experience in warehouse environment, with experience operating mechanical devices.
• Background knowledge in mechanical/industrial pipe and fittings is an asset
• Valid forklift license
• Outstanding communication skills
• Beginners level of computer competency
