This position works with municipal operations and maintenance teams to coordinate maintenance, operations and capital activities to ensure effective work is done in support of asset and financial sustainability.
Collect and review work from multiple streams using numerous software applications.
Prioritize as per service levels and standard operating procedures.
Assists with the planning and coordination of operations and maintenance activities.
Update schedules on an on-going basis and inform the Customer Care Centre of work status.
Maintains and updates planning documents and comprehensive manual and digital records of work performed, and makes recommendations for improvement.
Compiles and records data into Enterprise Asset Management program and prepares various reports and summaries using operational and financial data.
Analyses and resolves technical problems, including reports and studies.
Acts as liaison with other divisions and technical services.
Plans, schedules, coordinates, and dispatches work. Collaborates and effectively communicates requirements with field staff, management, co-workers, contractors and other civic departments.
Utilizes, trains and mentors staff on the utilization of the Enterprise Asset Management program for operations and maintenance activities.
Coordinates with Stores on planning and booking materials.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Grade 12 education.
5 years of experience – 2 years within civic operations, and 3 years of work planning, scheduling, and coordination experience
Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), WRR (Work Request Registry) and SAP software would be considered an asset.
Ability to obtain Work Management Certificate from PEMAC.
Weekly Hours: 40
Salary Range: $28.88 to $30.30 CAD per hour (2022 rates)
