POSITION: Office Administrator
LOCATION: Vaughan - onsite 5 days/week MacDonald Search Group is a national permanent placement recruiting firm and we recruit on behalf of hiring companies.We are recruiting on behalf of a national industrial company located in Vaughan who are on the hunt for an Office Administrator to support the owner and the company's day-to-day requirements.
This role will require someone to wear many hats in a small team environment and be the go-to person from an administrative perspective.
This is an IN OFFICE position Monday to Friday from 8am-5pm. Compensation package includes base salary, benefits (health/dental) and paid vacation.
Responsibilities: - Support the efforts of the Owner as their executive assistant
- Answer phone calls and monitor company inbox
- Build relationships with core customers
- Handle daily accounting duties including matching transactions, entering invoices and purchase orders
- Execute paperwork required for customer transactions
- Process credit card payments, prepare & send daily credit card reports
- Order supplies
- Manage WSIB
- Other duties as required
Requirements: - Post-secondary education
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Takes initiative and is a self-starter with the ability to anticipate what needs to be done
- Solid customer service skills
- Excellent verbal/written communication
- Team player
- Organized
- Strong computer skills - familiarity with Excel skills and previous experience with online accounting systems such as Quickbooks is preferred
